Ricky Stuart will unleash his latest young gun when the Canberra Raiders head to Campbelltown Stadium on Friday night to take on the Wests Tigers.
This debut will be extra special though for the Raiders coach given it’s his 23-year-old son, Jed, who will be lining up on the wing for his first NRL game.

Stuart comes in for Savelio Tamale, who will miss up to three months with a knee injury. Meanwhile, Hudson Young is expected to back up after representing New South Wales on Wednesday night in Perth.
Young’s Blues teammate Jarome Luai is also expected to play — but for the Tigers — while all eyes will be on Origin hopeful Terrell May amid calls for NSW coach Laurie Daley to make changes to his forward pack for the decider.
The Raiders come into this clash fresh off a bye and in red-hot form, having won nine of their last 10 matches.
The Tigers are also coming off a bye but haven’t won a game since Round 9 — however a victory on Friday night could turn their season around given they’re just two points outside of the top eight.
