Matt Burton tops the Westpac Red Zone Round 21 leaderboard, delivering a stellar display at five-eighth to down the Sea Eagles.
The Bulldogs beat Manly 42-8, with Burton assisting two tries and contributing to three more, meaning he played a role in five of seven total four-pointers scored by Canterbury.
It’s an impressive effort, and one that proves Burton and Lachlan Galvin are working as a halves combination after Cameron Ciraldo made the call to axe Toby Sexton in the No.7.
Burton also ran for 217 metres, the second most in the game behind tireless fullback Connor Tracey.
He also broke 10 tackles, the line twice and kicked for 406 metres in a complete playmaking performance.
