‘It was definitely Moses’: Gutho hilariously grilled by Fletch and Hindy over Eels exit

Star St George Illawarra recruits Clint Gutherson, Damien Cook and Valentine Holmes have been hilariously grilled over their exits from rival NRL clubs — and given a chance to exact some sweet revenge.

In a segment shown on The Late Show with Matty Johns on Thursday night, the trio sat down with Fletch & Hindy, who didn’t hold back about the veterans being allowed to leave by other clubs.

“They (Parramatta) didn’t want you,” Eels legend Nathan Hindmarsh told Gutherson.

“Nup,” Gutherson replied.

When Hindy jokingly suggested “there’s a vicious rumour going around that Mitch Moses may have had a little bit to do with it” Gutherson hilariously ran with it.

“Definitely. 100 per cent. He’s captain now so … there was a little bit in it I think … He’s a snake.”

Cook and Holmes certainly weren’t spared over their moves from South Sydney and North Queensland respectively.

“Cooky, you were speared by the Bunnies. I mean not even I was speared by the Bunnies,” Fletch said.

All three stars then got the chance to take out some frustrations in a game of ‘Disguntled Darts’ with the faces of Wayne Bennett, Todd Payten and Moses lined up for the players to target.
