Cameron Ciraldo hasn’t given up too much about Lachlan Galvin’s role in Thursday’s game against the Panthers, but said there are multiple plans on how he can use the former Tigers playmaker.

Galvin starred off the bench in the Bulldogs’ win over the Eels and then started with Matt Burton on Origin duty when the ladder leaders toppled the Rabbitohs.

While there may be plenty of external noise surrounding Galvin’s role, Ciraldo is more than happy to have the headache of trying to figure out how to fit him in along with Toby Sexton, Reed Mahoney and Bailey Hayward.

“I’ve probably got plan A, plan B and plan C again,” Ciraldo said when asked how he’d use Galvin this week.

“He’s there as a bit of insurance for our backs, and if an opportunity arises somewhere else, he’s been training in a number of positions.

“He’s been training really well since he got here, and every opportunity he’s taken.

“I can’t say too much, but it’s good that we’ve got guys fighting for positions and guys who can play a number of positions and do what’s best for the team.

“It’s about making the right decision at the right time.”

Ciraldo was not giving up much when quizzed on the matter by reporters, but it sounds like he has a number of options to turn to, which could include shifting Toby Sexton to hooker and Reed Mahoney to the bench as was the case against Parramatta.
